ABOUT

Milena graduated in Philosophy of Cinema from Roma Tre University in Rome (2010), while Robberto earned a Bachelor's degree in Sculpture from the Academy of Fine Arts in Rome (2012). They have been collaborating since 2017, merging painting and sculpture with textile art and embroidery. Since July 2023, they have been living and working in Lierde (BE).

Their artistic research delves into themes of universal and social memory, exploring the forces that shape human existence through the tensions between life and death, science and mysticism, materiality and spirituality. With a strong focus on the human condition, their work investigates the intricate relationship between social and individual obsessions, aiming to understand how every element exists in a state of balance—and conflict—with its opposite.
